Welder / Fabricator Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on qualifications) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Overtime: Optional Saturdays available (not mandatory) Location: Franklin, IN Position Summary Integrity Trade Services is seeking a Welder/Fabricator - Level I for a growing aerospace ducting manufacturer in Franklin, Indiana. This role is part of a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment and reports directly to the Shop Floor Supervisor. The facility operates as an FAA Repair Station, requiring strict adherence to engineering routings, safety standards, and quality procedures. This is an entry-level position within the production process, ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Actively support and follow all safety standards at all times (safety is a top priority) Perform TIG welding and torch brazing on thin-wall tubing, ducts, manifolds, and tubular aerospace components Weld titanium, stainless steel, and nickel alloys to aerospace quality standards Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, routings, and work instructions Fabricate and assemble components using jigs, fixtures, and precision measuring tools Work with tight tolerance components Cold work tubes, ducts, and manifolds to conform to check fixtures Operate orbital welding equipment Clean, bead blast, polish, blend, and pressure test products as required Ensure all products meet quality and FAA standards Identify and communicate potential process improvements Properly label, store, and handle hazardous materials Maintain clear communication with coworkers and supervisors Perform additional duties as assigned Willingness to work overtime when needed Required Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Valid driver's license Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to read, write, and speak English Legal authorization to work in the United States Ability to pass FAA drug screen and background check Experience welding thin-wall (.030"-.070") stainless steel or nickel alloys Basic math skills and blueprint interpretation abilities Preferred Qualifications Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience Experience or ability to certify to AWS D17.1 (NADCAP) standards Ability to certify as a Certified Weld Inspector (AWS QC1, B5.2) Experience or willingness to train in torch brazing FAA A&P certification (strong plus) Prior manufacturing or metalworking experience Experience using hand tools and precision instruments Physical Requirements Light to moderate physical effort Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
