About the Role: North Range Behavioral Health's Crisis Stabilization Services team provides immediate, compassionate, and comprehensive care for individuals experiences acute mental health crisis or substance use withdrawal. Crisis Stabilization Services includes the Acute Treatment Unit, a safe treatment-centered environment offering 24/7 medical supervision for individuals in psychiatric crisis, and Withdrawal Management (Detox), a 24-hours program supporting individuals who are intoxicated, in withdrawal, or at risk for withdrawal. As a Registered Nurse with the Crisis Stabilization Services team, you will deliver hands-on nursing care to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders through clinical assessments, crisis intervention, case management, medication administration and monitoring, health education, and emergency response. Working collaboratively with program staff psychiatrists, you will help stabilize patients, coordinate medical care, and support individuals during critical moments on their path toward recovery This position includes eligibility for a monthly performance bonus. What You Will Do: Provide compassionate, recovery-oriented nursing care to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges during critical moments. Assess client needs, monitor physical and emotional well-being and respond thoughtfully to changes in condition. Safely administer and monitor medications, supporting stabilization and continuity of care. Educate clients and families to promote understanding, dignity, and informed participation in treatment. Partners with psychiatrists, therapists, program leaders, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, person-centered care. Support crisis intervention, admissions, and emergency responses with professionalism and empathy. Maintain accurate, timely documentation to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance. Contribute to a collaborative, supportive team cultures through consultation, problem-solving, and shared learning. Perform additional duties that advance the mission of serving individuals and strengthening the community. You're a Great Fit If You: Have an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited professional nursing program. Active Colorado license to practice as a Registered Nurse. Experience in Behavioral Health field is preferred but not required Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus and highly valued but not required.
