Job Description: Licensed Practical Nurse A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. They work in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics. Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature Assist with patient assessments and care planning Collect and document patient information, such as medical history and symptoms Communicate with patients and their families about their care Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care Requirements: Current LPN license in the state of employment Completion of an accredited LPN program Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
