We obsessively curate our ever-evolving new and pre-owned inventory, including frames, components and wheels. We track the market and technical trends, and only take the bikes that meet our exacting standards. Our process evolves with the cyclist, from Certified Pre-Owned bikes to risk-free 30-day returns. We love to work hard, but always leave time to ride bikes. About The Job The C2B Purchasing plays a critical role in fueling The Pro's Closet's supply of high-quality pre-owned inventory. This position is primarily responsible for managing incoming Sell/Trade submissions, including accurately identifying bike and component models, assessing customizations or upgrades, and determining fair and competitive resale values. The associate communicates clear, timely offers or declinations to customers while ensuring a positive experience throughout the process. Once bikes are received, this role also helps troubleshoot discrepancies or issues identified during in-house inspections to ensure inventory meets TPC's quality standards. What You'll Do Respond to inbound consumer-submitted bike/wheel/frame submissions Seller communications for questions on TPC policies and submissions Maintain contact during store hours for In-Person sellers Maintain standards for fraud and theft prevention protocols Contribute to auxiliary projects and overflow work as needed Communicate purchasing issues and needs to management About You 1-3 years of secondhand market purchasing experience and/or bike retail experience Possess an analytical mindset, with the ability to recognize patterns and iterating quickly You are extremely detail-oriented, responsive, and remain calm under deadlines Able to work independently on a computer for full 8-hour shifts Enthusiastic about the outdoor/cycling industry, the people it attracts, and all the gear!
