Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with leaders to implement supply chain strategies for the next two years, including forecasting, inventory management, and distribution planning. Execute and oversee the S&OP process aligning forecast with operations and identifying risk and opportunities Optimize inventory levels, minimize storage costs, and prevent stockouts, while ensuring availability of materials and products. Build, develop, and retain high-performing teams by setting clear expectations, coaching leaders, and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lean manufacturing and related methodologies to build scalable processes, improve operational efficiency, and reduce cost. Develop and implement solutions to mitigate potential risks to the supply chain. Act as a strategic partner with other departments, such as sales, Operations, marketing, and engineering, to ensure alignment and effective communication. Purchasing: Develop and execute procurement strategies that support business objectives and mitigate risks. Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in quality and service levels. Ensure compliance with internal controls, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with finance and operations to manage purchasing budgets and forecasts. Planning: Oversee demand planning, production planning, and inventory management. Drive EBITDA by optimizing machine schedules and production locations Develop integrated planning processes to balance supply with demand efficiently. Coordinate with sales, operations, and production teams to ensure accurate forecasts and capacity planning. Optimize inventory levels to support service level targets while minimizing carrying costs. Use ERP/MRP systems to manage planning activities and monitor KPIs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with preference in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or APICS/CPIM certification is a plus. 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, with a strong focus on purchasing and planning. Experience in a mid-to-large size manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain best practices. Proficient in ERP/MRP systems D365 preferred (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
