Staff Development Specialist II (NS) We are seeking a Performance & Learning Technology Administrator (Staff Development Specialist II) to join the HR Information Systems Section within the Human Resources Division. This role supports the Performance & Organizational Development team and serves as the NCVIP Administrator, working closely with HR staff and stakeholders to manage performance processes and enhance employee engagement. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performance Management: Guide employees through all stages of the performance cycle, collaborate with regional trainers to implement procedures across divisions, lead the Performance Management Core Team to ensure alignment and improvement, manage goal and task entry for high-volume job classifications Learning & Development: Serve as LMS Administrator, managing eLearning content and technologies, develop and maintain statewide training programs, deliver and evaluate training in multiple formats using data insights System Administrator: Provide support, troubleshooting, and reporting for Cornerstone on Demand, administer NCVIP functions: group management, dynamic goal assignment, and record security, create and deliver custom NCVIP reports for management needs Salary Grade Range: $55,221 - $96,639 The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred: Expertise in Cornerstone NCVIP and performance management tools to enhance staff development through online learning. Skilled in designing and delivering engaging training programs both live and virtual with interactive facilitation. Proficient in Articulate Storyline Suite and applying instructional design principles for impactful eLearning content. Experienced in interpreting HR policies, applying performance management principles, and using data analysis for actionable solutions. Strong ability to leverage databases and reporting tools for informed decisions and continuous improvement. This role is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement and requires onsite reporting in Raleigh. The Division of Human Resources provides support and strategic direction for personnel operations within the Department of Adult Correction. This includes recruitment, compensation, classification, employee relations, policy development, benefits, and organizational development.
