Job description: For prevailing wage jobs must pass background check with fingerprint submission. Qualifications • Reliable form of transportation • Acceptable background check per company standards - Must pass PA State, FBI and Child Abuse clearances • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen • Weekends as needed • Experience required in the following: Installation of different types of roofing systems such as EPDM, TPO, BUR, Hot Weld and other forms of low-slope roofing systems and sheet metal.• Please list any valid certifications applicable to this role: OSHA, signalman, rigger, etc.• Please list previous experience in commercial roofing.• commercial roofing: 1 year (Required)• Driver's License (Required) Responsibilities • Installing, maintaining and repairing commercial roofing systems. • Installation of different types of roofing systems such as EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, BUR, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems. • Install standing seam metal roofs, sheet metal and flashings • Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.) • Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices • Work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks • Climbing and operating on ladders, able to handle at least 50 lbs • Effective communication with foremen, supervisors, and other employees • Willingness to learn new systems and application/installation strategies. • OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 encouraged but not mandatory for hiring.
