What You'll Get To Do Assembler is focused on drilling and milling metal, assembling/fabricating doors and frames to specifications provided by the customer. Additional activities may include welding, use of hand tools and packing products. This role is perfect for an individual who has an attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), strong work ethic/reliability and is a problem solver. A vital member of the team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. Operate machinery for drilling, milling, and sawing metal components. Assemble metal frames according to customer specifications and quality standards. Safely use hand tools and apply basic welding techniques as needed. Accurately read measurements and use a tape measure for fabrication tasks. Label and tag products and packages appropriately for identification. Basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and computer skills. Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately. Good work ethic with consistent attendance. Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. Physical Requirements & Worksite Conditions Ability to lift, bend, twist, carry, walk, and reach frequently. Ability to lift/move 50+ pounds intermittently. Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor, wearing steel-toed shoes with metatarsal guards and other safety equipment for eight to ten hours per day. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment without temperature or humidity control. Engage in pre-shift and mid-shift stretching routines.
