Fred Smith Company is currently searching for an experienced Grade Foreman for our Kitty Hawk location. We are a heavy civil contractor working in the commercial site work, public infrastructure and asphalt markets in North Carolina. Basic Duties: Responsible for the safe and efficient management of the crew and equipment on all assigned projects. Maintain all logs, daily reports and ensure that all time records are accurately entered each day. Ensure that personnel and sub-contractors are complying with company safety policies and procedures. Perform daily JSA meetings with the project teams and conduct weekly Toolbox Talks. Assist and direct crews in the use of equipment and resources. Manage quality of work, productivity and costs associated with the project. Maintain good relations with the public, engineers, inspectors and the customer.
