Medical Front Desk Receptionist - Pediatrics

The ideal candidate for the Front Desk / Call Center position will be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Job Duties:Patient and Office Management:Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the Front Office / Reception areaGreet patients upon arrival and manage the check-in processCollect patient payments, including copays and outstanding balancesSchedule follow-up and future patient appointmentsAnswer and manage incoming phone calls and emailsOrganize and file documents to ensure patient records are current and accurateCommunication and Flow:Facilitate smooth patient flow by communicating effectively with healthcare providers and the Back Office patient care team.Other Duties:Complete other tasks or projects as assigned.Minimum Qualifications & ExpectationsHigh School Diploma or GEDAvailability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PMAbility to work in both our Larkspur and Novato office locationsFull vaccination against COVID-19 and willingness to receive annual flu vaccinesRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Clear and professional communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.Excellent customer service abilitiesA professional appearance and demeanorReliability, detail-orientation, and computer literacyThe capacity to be a collaborative team player and efficiently multitask in a fast-paced environmentHighly Desired:Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese and/or SpanishBenefits:We offer medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and sick pay, paid holidays, life / accident insurance, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and are closed most weekends.  Salary range:In accordance with California law, the expected hourly range for this California position is between $25 and $27 per hour.
