Project Controls Analyst & Scheduler We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Project Controls Analyst & Scheduler to support a multi-project capital construction portfolio. This owner-side role requires hands-on experience in resource-loaded scheduling, cost forecasting, risk management, baseline management, and payment validation. Accuracy, accountability, and proactive problem-solving are essential. To be successful in this role, you'll work onsite with our client in Houston TX. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain resource-loaded CPM schedules in Primavera P6. Perform cost and schedule forecasting, including SPI/CPI calculation and variance analysis. Manage cost and schedule baselines and monitor adherence across projects. Review, validate, and process monthly contractor payment applications. Identify schedule, cost, and contractual risks, and recommend mitigation strategies. Guide team members on schedule and cost best practices. Proactively identify and resolve ambiguities or inconsistencies in schedule and cost data. Prepare accurate, audit-ready reports for leadership. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in project controls, scheduling, cost forecasting, risk management. Proven experience with resource-loaded schedules in Primavera P6. Experience reviewing pay applications and validating cost data. Demonstrated experience performing cost & schedule variance analysis, SPI/CPI calculation, and baseline management. Strong risk management and proactive problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication. Must reside in the Greater Houston Area and work onsite. Ideally, you'll also have: Owner-side experience, ideally in public or institutional programs. K-12 construction program experience. Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge.
