Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Lead and manage the surgical services team, offering guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-performance standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards of patient care in the surgical services department. Oversee all aspects of surgical patient care, including pre-operative assessments, intraoperative management, and post-operative recovery. Monitor and assess patient outcomes, making improvements as necessary to enhance patient safety and satisfaction. Candidate requirements 3 years of recent acute care manager or RN experience is required. A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) is required, as the facility is a Magnet Hospital. Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of California. Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) is preferred. A certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) is preferred.
