About the Role: The Trust Operations Specialist, within the Asset Valuation Team, has a primary responsibility to analyze and process transactions related to Private Security and Real Estate valuation. The role is primarily focused on a single security type (either Private Equity or Real Estate), with a goal of developing expertise across all security types to further support the team. Processing includes valuation updates, valuation variance checks and discussing valuation anomalies with issuers and clients. The role communicates effectively with clients, authorized third parties, and asset sponsors to resolve discrepancies or follow-up on requests. Adhere strictly to trust regulations and security standards including our customer identification program, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Internal Revenue Code, and all other applicable banking and trust regulation set forth by the IRS and various other regulatory agencies. Handles work of routine nature. Process price changes in relation to valuation of assets. Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and according to the relevant documentation. Ensure all documentation related to the transaction is appropriately archived and noted in Salesforce. Proactively communicate with asset sponsors via phone and email to validate requests and to understand the path to completion for each transaction. Quickly remediate any issues or concerns arising from the sponsor or agency contact. Communicate findings to end clients as needed. Ensure all procedures related to client contact are adhered to. Proactively communicate with clients via phone to advise them of the status of their request. Quickly remediate any issues or concerns arising from the client contact. Under the guidance of senior team members, assist in processing activities related to institutional client conversions and deconversions, as they relation to asset valuation. Under the guidance of senior team members, develop an understanding of processing activities across multiple alternative asset types About You: High School Diploma or equivalent certificate required. Demonstrated data entry skills required. 0-1-year Financial Services experience required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Prior financial securities processing experience preferred. Must be highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. Excellent organizational, time management, problem prevention and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Must be flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Must exhibit appropriate and professional judgement which is in line with Columbia Bank culture and success attributes. The pay range for this role is $22.61 - $26.00 The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
