Job DescriptionOverview A global automation and advanced manufacturing integrator is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to support complex system integration projects. This role blends technical leadership, hands-on design, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver automated solutions across highly regulated manufacturing environments, including medical device production. Key ResponsibilitiesLead controls engineering efforts across multiple automation projects from concept through commissioning. Design and develop control systems that meet customer specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. Manage concurrent projects, balancing technical execution, staffing needs, and workload priorities. Guide and mentor junior engineers, supporting technical growth and career development. Serve as a technical expert, reviewing engineering output and driving design improvements. Partner with internal teams and customers to resolve complex engineering challenges. Identify workflow and system improvements that increase efficiency and performance. Support program success related to cost, quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction. Present technical updates to leadership and stakeholders as needed. Travel: Up to 25%, including overnight travel Job RequirementsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. Associate degree holders with relevant experience will be considered. Approximately 7 to 12+ years of controls engineering experience within automation, manufacturing, or system integration environments. Demonstrated experience leading technical projects or engineering teams. Strong knowledge of automation technologies, control system design, and industry best practices. Ability to work independently, exercise sound engineering judgment, and solve complex technical problems. Effective communication skills with the ability to influence project direction and team outcomes. Preferred Background Experience supporting regulated manufacturing environments such as medical devices or life sciences. Proven ability to improve engineering processes and identify systemic efficiencies. Prior experience within an automation integrator or similar project-based engineering organization. Additional Details This is an onsite position requiring close collaboration with engineering teams and customers. New hires should expect an initial ramp-up period to learn internal technologies, processes, and standards. Candidates must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical examination in accordance with company requirements. Base Salary: $115,000 to $150,000 DOE
