About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and trusted Executive Assistant who can also operate as a strategic Chief of Staff for 10-15 hours/week. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates needs before they arise, and brings strong judgment, operational excellence, and legal/contract management expertise.The ideal candidate is a polished communicator, a systems thinker, and a steady partner to the CEO someone who can manage complex workflows, streamline decision-making, and ensure the organization runs smoothly. Experience with contracts, compliance, or paralegal work is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Support & Strategic PartnershipServe as the CEOs right hand, managing priorities, communications, and follow-through across all areas of the business.Anticipate needs, remove obstacles, and ensure the CEOs time is optimized for strategic work.Prepare executive-level presentations, briefs, and decision-ready materials.Support other executives as needed.Manage complex calendars, travel, and logistics with precision and discretion.Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.Chief of Staff FunctionsDrive operational rhythm: leadership meetings, agendas, action tracking, and cross-functional alignment.Lead special projects and strategic initiatives from concept to execution.Support organizational planning, internal communications, and change management.Build and refine processes that improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability.Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.Contracts, Legal, & Compliance SupportDraft, review, and manage contracts, NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, and other legal documents.Coordinate with external counsel on legal matters, filings, and compliance requirements.Maintain organized contract repositories and ensure timely renewals and obligations tracking.Support risk management, policy development, and regulatory compliance activities.Conduct research on legal, regulatory, or operational topics as needed.Operational & Administrative LeadershipOversee key administrative functions, including office operations, vendor management, and procurement.Develop and maintain systems, SOPs, and documentation to support organizational growth.Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the highest level of integrity.QualificationsRequired10+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant to multiple executives.Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts or legal documents.Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and the ability to operate with discretion.Proven ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and solve problems proactively.Strong proficiency with productivity tools (Microsoft 365, project management platforms).PreferredExperience supporting Csuite executives in high-growth, entrepreneurial, or regulated environments.Background in biotech.Experience managing cross-functional projects or operational initiatives.What Success Looks LikeThe CEOs time is protected, focused, and leveraged effectively.Contracts and legal workflows are accurate, timely, and well-organized.Cross-functional communication is smooth and aligned.Strategic initiatives move forward with clarity and momentum.The organization feels more structured, efficient, and supported. recblid 4jztapv9hws97geax5hn3gfeho0654
