Role: Java GCP Application Architect (Java + GCP) Location: NJ/Austin/Dallas/Boston (3 days to ofc) Duration: Fulltime only Job Description: Experience & Skill Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering, architecture, or IT Consulting A strong history of technology leadership, with exposure in software architecture and enterprise design Experience in technology architecture, operating design, service design, customer strategy or enterprise architecture Proficient in SMAC - proficient in architectures and application development Practical Experience of using enterprise integration patterns Experience in providing technology advisory service to clients across multiple sectors Knowledge of technology, human and corporate digital trends, and ability to articulate PoV and their impact Confident, assertive, and effective communicator with strong influencing skills Proven experience in leading advisory and consulting assignments Should have experience working on EComm/supply chain and retail-based enterprise solutions. Expertise with green field, legacy modernization, technology refactor Product/Platform implementations Should bring in technology thought leadership Leverage digital technologies concepts - develop digital strategy, approaches, propositions and point of views Well versed with Modern Platform Architectures, design principles and design patterns Technology & Architecture: Understanding of Enterprise Architecture models and frame works Experience of integration capabilities, data and analytics, real time data processing and microservices based architecture. Strong hands-on experience in architecting microservice based applications using Java technologies. Strong experience with architecting migration of Monolith to Micro services architecture Strong experience in applying design patterns. Strong application design and implementation skills, solid understanding of entire development cycle. Strong background in Java, J2EE, Microservices, REST based application, Spring/Spring-boot/ORM Broad cloud knowledge - good understanding of major cloud providers (AWS and GCP) and their services Serverless, containers, monitoring, and managed services Understanding of modern network and security concepts, especially relevant to cloud architecture Understanding of data paradigms including architecture and technology to support digital use cases Board understanding of Modern AI/ML/Metaverse Appreciation of DevOps, CI/CD, Agile SDLC approaches (Agile, SaFE) Understanding of legacy transformation targeting cloud architecture Product Architecture Methodologies Technology focus Opensource Experience with presales, experience with Architecture / HLD, NFRs etc. Experience with technology horizontals / CoEs for driving thought leadership Please share your updated resume to
