Registered Nurse - SICU

Unit: Surgical, Trauma, & Burn Intensive Care Unit (STICU/Burn ICU) Beds: 38 | Average Census: ~28 Shift: 3 X12-hour shifts Night Ratios: 1:2 (Days/Nights/Weekends) Schedule: Every other weekend; floating required within OSU system Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Experience: • Minimum 2 years ICU experience required • Trauma Level I or Burn ICU experience preferred • Strong background in managing ventilators, CRRT, invasive monitoring, and post-surgical/trauma patients Unit Highlights: • Level I Trauma & Burn Center (tri-state area) • Patient population includes trauma, burn, transplant, surgical (ENT, ortho, plastics, colorectal), and overflow neuro/medical ICU • Advanced procedures: CRRT, bedside trachs/pegs/bronchoscopies, large surgical dressings • Systems: Epic (documentation), Pyxis (medication)
