Junior Consultant ProSidian Consulting seeks Junior Consultant (Sales & Operations Support Specialist) for our Consulting practice to join us in our Charlotte, NC office. This role is key to supporting the timely execution of business operations, revenue-generating, and client engagement activities. Junior Consultants (Sales & Operations Support Specialists) with ProSidian Consulting have a BA or equivalent qualification and 3-5 years of experience. This includes researching and documenting possible business opportunities, modifying and managing our proposal development process, and communicating the status of these activities with the appropriate stakeholders. This position will participate in identifying solutions to important client challenges/opportunities, support the production of results for engagement team deliverables and internal firm initiatives, drive change and impact client outcomes. In this position, you will use your skills to participate in all phases of the business development and management process. Reporting directly to the Managing Principal, you will be integral to the development and management of the firm and share revenues with potential equity stake based on future successes for strategic five (5) year goals and objectives. Although daily activities may change and evolve, the following represent the initial primary areas of activity: 45% Internal Operations Focus, 45% Business Dev Initiatives, and 10% Client Service. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with other consultant practices and company business units, interfacing with contract On-Demand resources, and working with other Engagement Team Members (new employees, fellows, contractors, and collaborating partners) to develop or support business opportunities. Junior Consultants also help clients identify, define operational issues, then develop and implement strategies to improve organizational effectiveness and achieve positive results. This role will be provided a rare opportunity to learn the business by being vertically integrated in all operations such as market sector research, business development, client interface and support, and engagement delivery for work in Enterprise Service Solutions for Risk Management | Compliance | Business Process | IT Effectiveness | Engineering | Environmental | Sustainability | and Human Capital. The Junior Consultant works directly with the ProSidian Managing Principal, Engagement Teams, Practice Area Leaders, Contractors, and other Collaborating Partners to support our go to market strategy, which provides strategically diversified business and technical services for consulting clients. Responsible for providing support to functional areas of Management & Business Consulting including, program support, market area research, proposal writing, project team support/participation general administration duties, operations support, and all other duties as assigned. The position is critical to ensure efficient operation and growth of the firm and will be given training and exposure to all aspects of the firm, the consulting industry, and client functions. Support and Manage our sales process Work under tight deadlines and adeptly manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities Manage criteria for selecting and pursuing potential opportunities Collect proposal information from stakeholders and assimilate the data into an established process for managing, executing and fulfilling proposal requests. Continually evaluate and improve the system for managing leads and proposals. Assure all proposal components are assembled and disseminated to stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment. Manage company marketing activities under direction of Managing Principal and Practice Leadership Team, including website, branding, and promotional materials Maintain an organized work flow and track each stage of assigned projects through to completion Interact with clients to assure customer satisfaction Ensure and enhance ProSidian Consulting policies and procedures. Support research and participate in building internal/external relationships with current and future clients and targets through exceptional problem solving, ownership and follow-through. Support efforts and participate in the creation of Thought Leadership for firm initiatives and key go to market topics. Special Projects as assigned. Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local laws, as well as, ProSidian Consulting policies and procedures. Set-up/ Support new accounts for billing, and manage the process for consultant and contractor payments where required. Analyze problems, identify alternative solutions and project consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations in support of goals. Establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
