Outreach Coordinator

WHO WE ARE: Founded in 2007, DTI (Diversified Technology, Inc.) is a successful African American owned IT Consulting/Staffing firm based in Chicago's Loop. WHAT WE DO: We focus on providing delivery, staffing, and supported services such as enterprise integration/implementations including, but not limited to, CRM, EAM, ERP, PMO, and QA. We service clients in SLED (state/local gov't & education), financial services, fortune, public utility, as well as regularly partnering with Big 4 SI partners. Are you a Outreach Coordinator looking for your next contract? If so, we want to speak to you! DTI has an immediate need for a Outreach Coordinator for a 10+ Months contract Qualifications: The successful candidate will have community engagement and/or marketing experience and be detailed oriented. The coordinator position is responsible for contacting local agencies, community centers, churches, and VA locations to arrange for participation in onsite events for the purposes of distributing Energy Assistance information to customers. Position is responsible for staffing event tables (through the companies volunteer portal) and working the events directly. The coordinator will also distribute information via email, participate in team discussions to share ideas and track and report out on all outreach activity. Strong organizational skills are needed to be successful. Responsibilities: Requirements: Must have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, must have reliable transportation, must be technically experienced (Excell, Work, Outlook etc.) must be able to navigate social media channel as needed. Some weekend work will be required.
