This site works a 4/10 Alternative Work Schedule with 4-6AM start times. Position Summary: To assist the Administrator in the daily operation of the center activities in accordance with Federal, State and surgery center policies and procedures. Coordinates the reception/admitting activities and promotes communication throughout the facility. Performs clerical and reception duties. Job duties and responsibilities: Assist executives and departmental staff as requested Answer telephone and direct call. Register and receive patients for the surgery center Obtain voice mail messages and distribute Provide surgical schedules to all departments Maintain all documents for updating surgical charts Communicate with physician offices as requested via phone and/or mail. Pick up and open mail to distribute, including sorting mail to interoffice to other departments Prepare items for Fed Ex/UPS pickup/sign for deliveries & distribute Maintain fax and copy machines and other equipment throughout the surgery center assist with any repair requests. Cross train to all front office departments and cover vacancies as needed Complete bank batch and reconciliations for finance. Special Projects as identified by leadership. Participates in meetings, conference calls and emails as required. All other duties as directed by management. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $23.00 - $25.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
