Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist Process payroll for multiple companies and operating entities accurately and timely Review, audit, and approve employee time records prior to payroll submission Maintain employee data including pay rates, compensation changes, new hires, and terminations Support onboarding processes and payroll-related employee updates Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management Assist with benefits coordination including open enrollment and 401(k) administration Prepare payroll-related reports for management and the finance department Support quarterly and annual payroll tax filings and compliance reporting Prepare documentation and coordinate audit support for payroll-related items Collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Analyst Paylocity experience required Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals and payroll best practices Knowledge of workers’ compensation and payroll-related regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll systems Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality Excellent communication and critical thinking skills This Payroll Specialist role is best suited for a professional who enjoys owning payroll operations end-to-end, partnering across departments, and contributing to a well-organized and compliant finance function.#LI-TJ1 #INFEB2026
