Requisition ID: 179903 Job Level: Mid Level Home District/Group: Kiewit Industrial District Department: Quality Market: Industrial Employment Type: Full Time Position Overview The Quality Assurance Auditor ensures full implementation of Project Quality Assurance Program (PQAP) across projects by conducting scheduled audits, verifying compliance with quality standards, and reviewing documentation. This role acts as an objective liaison between project teams and clients, promoting adherence to procedures and fostering constructive resolution of quality issues. District Overview The Kiewit Industrial District delivers direct-hire construction services for complex industrial projects across the United States. Our work spans multiple sectors, including data centers, mineral processing, energy and water, with projects ranging from small capital work to major EPC projects. Location This position will be based out of Lone Tree, CO or Houston, TX and include travel to project sites 3-4 days a week. ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain the Project Quality Assurance Program (PQAP) and Project Quality Plan (PQP). Develop and manage audit schedules; conduct independent audits of processes, operations, subcontractors, and suppliers. Verify compliance with quality procedures, codes, and standards through field observations and documentation reviews. Audit third-party inspection/testing companies and ensure subcontractor adherence to PQP. Review and organize quality documentation per project turnover requirements. Prepare audit reports, metrics, and corrective action plans; track closure of findings. Identify quality trends and collaborate on mitigation strategies. Provide training on quality plans and mentor jobsite quality personnel. Utilize InEight Completions for audit records, lessons learned, and continuous improvement. Conduct Audit Kickoff and Closeout meetings. Qualifications5+ years of relevant professional experience in construction quality, auditing, or a related field. Working knowledge of construction codes and standards (ACI, AWS, ASME, NEC, etc.). Certifications from American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications (CQA, CCQM, CMQ/OE) are an asset. Strong understanding of piping, electrical, and major construction disciplines. Ability to manage audits objectively and resolve conflicts professionally.
