Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Prepare and assist in operating room setup for scheduled procedures • Verify accurate and complete preparation of supplies, instruments, equipment and special order implants/instruments pre-operatively • Open and dispense sterile items safely and accurately • Assess special needs related to patient history, surgical procedure, positioning needs and length of planned surgical procedure • Count sponges, sharps, and instruments with scrub person • Perform accurate charge capture for items utilized in operating room for patient-specific charges • Call required with weekend and holiday coverage as needed • 8 hours of non-billable orientation required • Must have own transportation - rural area with no public transportation • 2 years current OR experience required • Scrub and circulating experience required with skills checklists • Orthopedic and neurosurgery experience required • EPIC EMR experience required • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) • New Hampshire RN license or Compact license required • Maximum 5 days requested time off accepted (must be noted at submission) • All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission Facility: This 25-bed hospital serves over 90,000 patients annually with a dedicated team of 500 staff members providing comprehensive healthcare services.
