Responsibilities Provide a continuum of services aimed at providing an array of behavioral health services for children and adults with a main focus on children. Services include prevention, treatment and interventions that promote recovery and social well-being.Provide psychiatric and medical assessment of treatment servicesEvaluate co-existing medical conditions for potential impactWork in close contact with referring physician and primary care provider in the patient's care to provide an expert treatment planProvide medication monitoring for clients, reviewing use of medication to determine appropriateness, presence of side effects, medical interactions, etc. QualificationsMinimumMedicare and California Medicaid numbers prior to start of employmentValid California medical license as MD or DOCertified as a diplomat in the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in psychiatryCompletion of a psychiatric residency or a family medicine/psychiatry residency in an ACGME approved residency programValid DEA certificate2 years experience working full-time as a psychiatrist and MD or DO in child/adult psychiatryRequired Skills/Knowledge/AbilitiesExcellent interpersonal communication skills1 year experience working with childrenProficient with electronic health records and technology platformsPart TimePay: $138 - $150/hrLocated in Vista, CA Generous BenefitsCompensation Information:$138.00 / Hourly - $150.00 / Hourly5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
