Position at a Glance:Work Location:Consultants in Infectious DiseaseAddress:120 East Second Street and 201 State Street, Erie, PA 16550Status:Full-time positionSchedule / Call:Provide 4.5 days inpatient consultative services weekly with .5 day outpatient care with call schedule of 1:3Immigration Status Considered:Accepts H-1B CandidatesEnhanced compensation package includes:Productivity IncentiveSign on bonusCME stipendRelocation BenefitPSLF EligibleEmployer paid occurrence-based malpractice insuranceUPMC Hamot, a leading healthcare provider in Northwestern Pennsylvania, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Infectious Disease physician to join our well-established, hospital-based consultative practice.Position Highlights:Established Team Model:Join a dedicated Infectious Disease service comprised of two full-time Infectious Disease physicians and one Advanced Practice Provider, offering a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.System-Wide Impact:Provide telemedicine Infectious Disease consults across UPMC Northern Pod hospitals, expanding your clinical reach while maintaining balance.Advanced Technology:Work within a fully integrated Epic electronic medical record, ensuring seamless documentation, communication, and continuity of care.Patient Safety Focus:Utilize a hospital-wide electronic nosocomial infection surveillance system to proactively enhance patient safety and outcomes.Integrated Care Model:Play a key role in an established Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, partnering closely with the Infectious Disease team and hospital leadership to promote best practices.
