Position Summary - ICU RN Role As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in caring for critically ill patients with complex medical conditions. You'll work independently and collaboratively to manage life-sustaining treatments, assess rapidly changing health statuses, and provide comfort and clarity to both patients and families. Essential Responsibilities - ICU NurseDeliver High-Acuity Care: Treat patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention using industry-standard critical care protocols. Continuously Evaluate Patient Needs: Conduct regular and emergency assessments, modifying care plans based on patient response. Coordinate Interdisciplinary Care: Partner with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans. Administer Specialized Therapies: Manage IV medications, blood products, ventilator support, and other advanced interventions with accuracy and precision. Guide and Support Families: Offer compassionate education and emotional support to families facing high-stress medical situations. Maintain Clinical Standards: Follow hospital protocols and nursing practice guidelines with focus on ICU-specific competencies.
