Description - Your Responsibilities Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-in adherence to established protocols. Interpret results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments. Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for thorough testing as required. Document all procedures meticulously, guide new team members or students, and help uphold the laboratory's quality assurance standards. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree paired with ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire. Maintain current certification in good standing throughout your employment. Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with diverse healthcare teams.
