Maintenance Unit Supervisor (12-Hour Rotating Shifts)

Summary: We are looking for a Maintenance Unit Supervisor to lead and support a union crew. This role involves supervising electricians and mechanics, ensuring safety, solving problems, and keeping operations running smoothly. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts rotating between days and nights. Key Responsibilities: Supervise electricians and mechanics in your department. Provide guidance, training, and technical troubleshooting support. Ensure all work is done safely and no harm comes to people or the environment. Lead safety discussions and job-specific safety checks. Qualifications (Required): High School diploma or GED. t least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience. t least 2 years of supervisory experience with direct reports. Preferred Qualifications: Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of HR/IR policies and labor agreements. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
