Bank Operations Specialist Company: Financial Institution Location: Dixon, CA Role Overview This role serves as a senior-level contributor within loan operations, supporting the full loan lifecycle from pre-funding through post-closing. The Specialist handles complex loan-processing tasks, ensures file accuracy and compliance, and provides dependable operational support during a period of team transition. The position is fully onsite and requires a candidate comfortable working in a structured, detail-driven environment. Responsibilities Review loan files for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. Prepare and process loan documents, including LaserPro-generated packages. Enter, validate, and maintain loan data within core banking systems (Fiserv, FIS Horizon). Verify approvals, disclosures, and required conditions prior to funding. Board loans into servicing systems following closing. Process payments, escrow activities, loan modifications, payoffs, and collateral releases. Maintain organized loan records and respond to internal inquiries. Support audits and assist in ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Collaborate with loan officers, processors, underwriters, and internal teams. Required Experience 2-3 years of recent loan operations experience within a bank or credit union. Strong preference for loan operations vs. retail or loan production backgrounds. Understanding of loan documentation, servicing workflows, and compliance requirements. Familiarity with insurance and collateral concepts (AFR, escrow, etc.). Systems & Technical Skills: Fiserv, FIS Horizon, LaserPro, Imaging/document management systems, Excel proficiency, Compliance & Audit Must possess a strong compliance mindset and understanding of regulatory standards.
