About the Job: The Regional Category Manager (LAC) plays a key role in supporting and advancing SCM across the Latin American region. This position partners closely with regional stakeholders, global category teams, and franchisees to ensure category initiatives align with business priorities and drive sustainable value across the system. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, the ability to influence across functions and cultures, and comfort operating in an environment where priorities can evolve and ambiguity exists. With significant opportunity to help strengthen and mature SCM, this individual will contribute to supplier strategy execution, risk management, specification optimization, and sustainability integration, while supporting long-term growth and competitive advantage across the region. Salary Range: $125,200 - $147,200+ bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: Lead key negotiations with strategic category suppliers Own strategic supplier relationship and implement strategic supplier partnerships to ensure Yum is a customer of choice and drives competitive advantage which unlocks value and growth for YumPartner with business stakeholders on regional strategic & business priorities Partner with global & regional functional leads to ensure that category strategies are meeting the broader needs of the business Manage all potential category risks and ensure sufficient mitigation and business continuity plans are in pace to avoid disruption Support franchise relationship to ensure franchisees understand and are aligned to regional / global sourcing events for respective category and provide maximum participation Develop strategic partnerships with relevant regional external partners, i.e., develop business case for long-term investments Drive specification harmonization & optimization in collaboration with regional brand teams Champion sustainability initiatives within supply chain which reduce environmental impact & support the brands commitment to Good Growth - Ensure long term ESG goals are embedded into category & sourcing strategies QualificationsQualifications: 8+ years' experience in supply chain roles, ideally within food industry or related field 5+ years' experience of global / regional strategic category management / procurement Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Strong leadership skills; prepared to challenge status quo and drive change Excellent communication and partnership skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners across the global business Strong communications (presentation, verbal, writing) and ability to gain buy-in & influence key stakeholders at all levels in a global organization High level of intellectual curiosity Data and analysis-driven with strong Excel skills Benefits: Employees (and their eligible family members) may enroll in the following types of insurance coverage: medical, dental, vision, legal, and accidental death and dismemberment, as well as FSA/HSA (depending on enrolled medical plan).
