Deliver personalized interventions focusing on speech, language, fluency, and swallowing. Work hand-in-hand with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to design integrated care plans. Educate patients and families on how they can foster progress outside therapy sessions. Occasionally conduct inpatient evaluations and therapy to ensure continuity of care. Maintain precise and prompt records adhering to state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in ongoing learning and peer collaboration to remain abreast of industry advances. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Fulfillment of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
