Payroll Specialist LHH is seeking a Payroll Specialist for our client near Canoga Park! The Payroll Specialist will manage processing bi-weekly payroll and assisting with Accounts Payable duties. Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly payroll, reconcile data, audit hours, and ensure accurate payments for exempt and non-exempt employees. Prepare Payroll Summary, Overtime, monthly, and ad hoc payroll reports. Address employee inquiries related to pay, deductions, taxes, leaves, retroactive pay, and garnishments. Maintain payroll master data including new hires, terminations, transfers, and employee changes. Process special payrolls including bonuses and year-end adjustments. Respond to government agency requests and ensure timely payroll tax filings and remittances. Maintain compliant payroll records and perform routine audit checks. Maintain AP vendor master file and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to verify and process vendor information. Perform other duties as needed to support organizational operations. Qualifications: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. 2+ years of payroll and accounts payable experience. Strong knowledge of payroll laws, processes, and related accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Officeespecially Excel. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
