Job Opportunity At Texas Rehabilitation Hospital Keller Texas Rehabilitation Hospital Keller is located in beautiful Keller, TX, a joint venture between Texas Health Resource and LifePoint Healthcare. It is a 36-bed rehabilitation hospital serving patients recovering from strokes and other long-term illnesses or injuries and features specialized clinical programs. We are currently recruiting for a full-time occupational therapist. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated health care professionals who pride themselves on providing quality patient care. Our facilities have a prominent reputation in the community for providing excellent rehabilitation services. After evaluating your patient's condition, you'll develop a specialized treatment plan to help him/her achieve as much as possible in regaining his/her well-being through exercise and/or use of prosthetic and orthotic devices. You and your staff will play an important role in his/her recovery. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs. Document patient care in accordance with LifePoint Healthcare Rehabilitation, regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition. Qualifications: Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas or be eligible for temporary license with supervision based on current state guidelines. Graduate from an approved school of Occupational Therapy. Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy preferred, but not required. Knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy, and physiology. Effective oral and written communication skills in English with additional languages preferred. Current CPR certification.
