Job Title: Pharmacist - Critical Access HospitalLocation: Valentine, NE 69201 Duration: 13 Weeks Pay Rate: $70 - $75 per hour Schedule: Day Shift 8-hour shifts 40 hours per week Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a critical access hospital setting. This role is responsible for ensuring safe medication dispensing, delivering clinical support to healthcare providers, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards while promoting high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and accurately dispense medications Monitor drug therapy for appropriateness, interactions, and therapeutic outcomes Provide dosing recommendations and clinical guidance to providers Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams Offer drug information and patient counseling Participate in medication therapy management initiatives Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Maintain accurate documentation and medication records Monitor and manage controlled substances and inventory Oversee medication storage and distribution processes Support formulary management and policy adherence Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Required Qualifications Active Pharmacist license in the State of Nebraska (or eligibility to obtain) Experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting Strong knowledge of medication safety standards and regulatory compliance Ability to work independently in a rural or critical access hospital environment Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
