Cardiology Registered Nurse (RN) Spokane Valley, WA Full-Time | 1.0 FTE | On-Site Compensation: $34.52 - $52.83/hour +$7,500 Sign-On Bonus! About the Role As an RN on our general cardiology team, you'll be responsible for triaging patient needs, providing one-on-one education, and supporting post-op and chronic cardiac care management in an outpatient clinic setting. This role is critical to patient outcomes and the clinic's coordination of care. Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesPatient Triage & Clinical Support Assess and prioritize incoming patient nurse notes via phone triage and return patient calls appropriately. Patient Education Deliver individualized education related to cardiology diagnosis, procedures, and treatment plans. Educate patients and families on prescribed medications and post-procedure care. Provide post-discharge instructions and review abnormal labs for follow-up. Collaboration & Documentation Coordinate with providers and communicate care updates. Support follow-up procedures and documentation of patient interactions. Serve as an educator and cardiac health resource for patients, staff, and the community. Act as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients, and external providers. What You'll Need to Succeed Licensure: Active RN license in Washington State You must obtain an MSL and Oregon license within 90 days of hire. You will be reimbursed for this expense as a condition of your employment. Certifications: BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Experience: 3-5 years in critical care or cardiology-related settings preferred (not required) Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited institution Skills: Strong clinical judgment, compassionate communication, patient advocacy, and multitasking Work Environment This role is 100% in-office at our Spokane Valley clinic. Moderate noise level, frequent use of phone and computer systems. Occasional lifting of equipment up to 25 lbs. Involves a full range of motion and hands-on patient care activities.
