The Supply Chain Intern will support day-to-day supply chain and operations activities, gaining hands-on experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, and data analysis. This role is ideal for a student eager to learn how products move from suppliers to customers efficiently and cost-effectively. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with demand planning, inventory tracking, and supply chain reporting. Support procurement activities, including purchase orders and supplier communication. Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Help coordinate logistics and transportation schedules. Maintain accurate records in ERP or inventory management systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, finance, and production. Prepare reports and presentations for supply chain metrics and KPI. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs a plus). Effective communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Specific Activities Develop dashboards to monitor inventory health, supplier performance, and forecast accuracy. Perform in-depth forecast analysis to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Map process flows and identify bottlenecks within the S&OP cycle. Refresh ABC classification at the SKU level to optimize inventory segmentation. Assess lead time variability to improve planning accuracy and supplier performance. Review safety stock levels and lead time parameters to ensure optimal inventory control. Create inbound shipment and freight dashboards to enhance logistics visibility. Classify C, D, and E category items and support obsolescence planning initiatives.
