Locum Emergency Medicine Physician - Largo, Florida RecruitWell is seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for an ASAP, long-term locum opportunity in Largo, Florida. This is a high-acuity emergency department with strong specialty support and excellent pathology, offering a full year of coverage needs. Coverage Details Start: ASAP Duration: 1 year Shift Lengths: 9-12 hours Shift Coverage Needed: AM & PM shifts Orientation: One shift Reason for Coverage: Two physicians relocated Practice Environment Emergency Department Bays: 30 Patient Volume: 2.0 patients/hour Patient Mix: High acuity Service Line: Strong specialty coverage with minimal transfers Triage Model: Nurse/APP triage for lower acuity 2 APPs covering 10-hour shifts Support Staff: Experienced nurses and ED techs EMR: Meditech FLG Candidate Requirements Board Certified ABEM or ABOEM - Required Emergency Medicine Residency Trained - Required New Grads Accepted 2 years of case logs - Required ACLS & PALS - Required Why This Assignment High-acuity medicine with excellent pathology Strong support services and minimal transfers Flexible shift lengths Long-term stability with a 1-year assignment Why RecruitWell?
