The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge base in HVAC and roofing systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to strategically plan and manage all aspects of facilities management. This role requires close collaboration with the pastor and business manager, and a commitment to the values of the Catholic faith. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain facilities including church, school, rectory, convent, and office buildings. Oversee the Facilities Management and Safety Team, including maintenance staff and grounds crew. Ensure all HVAC and roofing systems are properly maintained and functioning efficiently. Develop and implement strategic plans for facilities upkeep, improvements, and safety compliance. Work closely with the pastor and business manager to coordinate budgeting, invoice records, and financial planning related to facilities. Maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and communicate effectively to ensure quality service delivery. Attend Mass regularly and actively participate in the faith community, supporting the mission and values of the parish. Qualifications Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and roofing systems. Proven experience managing multiple facilities and maintenance teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for facilities management. Strong organizational skills with attention to budgeting and financial record keeping. Demonstrated commitment to the Catholic faith and active participation in parish life.
