Traveling Superintendent

Now hiring a Traveling Structural Steel Superintendent for a contract to hire opportunity! Pay rate is $32-40/hr plus benefits! Location of project is in Powhatan, VA. Job Duties: • Reports directly to the Project Manager • Manages the project in the field from the beginning of the mobilization until project completion. • Maintains project records • Reviews all field drawings, plans, estimates and specifications. • Knowledgeable in layout, rigging, welding & bolting steel • Coordinates with PM on changes from erection drawings to bid documents • Attend weekly site meetings & communicate directly with onsite GC Supervisor • Responsible for equipment, tools and field personnel. • Oversees implementation of job site safety and quality program • Competent person for quality onsite • Completion of project in a quality and safe manner, on time and within budget Apply now! Qualifications: • High school education or its equivalent • Preferred minimum of 10 years field management experience in heavy construction projects • Ability to comprehend job documents, interpret and implement • Comprehensive knowledge of industry quality and safety standards. • Ability to communicate in a positive and effective manner with senior officers, general contractor personnel and subordinates • Competent Person Qualifications - OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, EM-385 24-HR Fall Protection, MEWP and Fork lift certifications Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
