Process Maintenance Mechanic

The Science Team at Russell Tobin is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for "Process Maintenance Mechanic"Key Responsibilities Perform repair and repetitive maintenance on valves, centrifuges, pumps, autoclaves, washers, tanks, and associated piping. Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability. Rebuild pumps, valves, bearing assemblies, and mechanical seals. Read and interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Assist with equipment startup, commissioning, and validation activities. Ensure accurate, detailed documentation in compliance with cGMP and SOP requirements. Support spare parts identification, procurement, and organization. Review and redline SOPs when improvements are identified. Strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all site safety procedures. Work Environment Regulated manufacturing setting (cGMP environment) Support across Manufacturing, Materials Management, Quality Control Labs, and Utility Operations Requires physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs May involve confined spaces and elevated work areas Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 5-6 years of relevant industrial/process maintenance experience Strong understanding of industrial mechanical systems Experience with pumps, valves, and rotating equipment Ability to read P&IDs Experience working within a CMMS system Valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with reasonable accommodation Preferred: Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing environments Familiarity with cGMP documentation practices Additional Information Pay Rate: $40-$44/hr. on W2 Location: Vacaville, CA Duration: 12 months Must be authorized to work in the United States.
