Job Description

Human Resources Generalist HYTORC of Texas is seeking a Human Resources Generalist who is responsible for performing higher level HR functions working closely with other team members. The position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas but not limited to: employee relations, training and employee development, payroll, development and implementation of policies and procedures in accordance with the Company mission and core values. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Attends/Participates/Facilitates employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Work with management to resolve employee grievances and counsel employees and supervisors. Maintain employee record integrity/accuracy (physical and digital) Process bi-weekly and off cycle payrolls in compliance with applicable laws governing the various states HYTORC of Texas operates in in addition to other payroll related processes including but not limited to: garnishments, child support orders, UI Rate changes. Create and maintain HR/Payroll Reports and assist with audits. Launch, monitor, update, and configure Employee Reviews. Process, track, and file Worker's Compensation Claims. Create and Maintain Job Descriptions for all positions. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Supervisory Responsibilities No Direct Reports but may be responsible for overseeing projects/assignments with the ability to coordinate and request assistance from HR peers. Education/Experience Required Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. SHRM-CP/HRCI-PHR or higher certification preferred. Strong ability to quickly adapt and work in a diverse and fast-pace environment. Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills. High degree of discretion and judgement with confidential matters and information. Computer Skills Necessary Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook/Word/Excel/Teams). Physical Demands/Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing. Occasional lifting/moving up to 15 pounds. Work Environment Standard office environment of moderate noise level.
