Material Handler $18.50 an hour The Material Handler operates as a Warehouse Clerk, undertaking a variety of general warehouse duties. Our global clientele necessitates a dynamic approach, with responsibilities ranging from picking and pulling kits to inventory control, such as cycle counting and logging items in software. Tasks also include operating equipment like pallet jacks or hand-carts to move materials and building crates for international shipments. Responsibilities Perform general warehouse duties, including picking, stacking, racking, stocking, boxing, moving, organizing, and cleaning. Engage in inventory activities such as shipping, receiving, cycle counting, stocking, tracking, replenishment, and labeling while adhering to work orders. Execute crating and packing tasks, which include measuring, cutting, wrapping, insulating, foam wrapping, bubble wrapping, plastic wrapping, and packing parts of a kit for truck-proof shipping. Essential Skills 1+ years of warehousing experience. Experience in inventory management and cycle counting. Comfort and ability to operate a sit-down forklift. Proficiency in using computer software systems for basic transactions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Material handling expertise. Competence in computer operation and data entry. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position is based in a manufacturing facility that is clean, organized, and climate-controlled. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland Park, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
