Senior Salesforce Architect, Subject Matter Expert

About the role Seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect and Subject Matter Expert to support defect resolution and DevSecOps for a key client. This remote role, with occasional onsite presence in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, requires a seasoned professional to lead the design, maintenance, and enhancement of Salesforce applications, ensuring robust integration, performance, and security. The ideal candidate is an expert in Salesforce architecture, with strong experience in Agile environments and a deep understanding of enterprise architecture and business transformation. Job Responsibilities Map AIE requirements to Salesforce out-of-box functionality. Identify and implement opportunities to improve delivery capabilities using untapped technology. Leverage Salesforce Omnistudio and related tools to increase team velocity. Integrate Salesforce platform with third-party products as needed. Improve data accessibility and scalability through data model fine tuning. Install, maintain, configure, and ensure integrity of Salesforce applications. Collaborate with network engineers to schedule installations and upgrades. Maintain file control, product support, and facilitate change control and problem management. Establish and enforce processes for consistent and well-integrated application infrastructure. Expertise in BEA SA repository, Visual Basic, SA macros, Windows XT server, SQL server, and DoDAF modeling methodology. Strong understanding of BTA business transformation and enterprise architecture. Experience coordinating delivery and publishing of BEA. Proven ability to work in Agile teams using CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork. Ability to manage application infrastructure with a focus on reliability and performance. Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and occasionally onsite as required.
