Title: Fleet Security Advisor Pay Rate: $55/hr+ DOE Location: San Francisco, Onsite Type: Assignment 6 months with possibility of extension About Our Client Our client is a pioneering automotive services organization committed to redefining how people move. About the Role As our Regional Fleet Security Adviser will promote our clients fleet operations, promote safety best practices, and build relationships with first responders, emergency services, and public safety organizations within an assigned region. As the advisor you will also assist in setting up fleet security plans that can be scaled to new markets, while ensuring safety. Advisor is a recognized SME in traffic safety. This responsibilities for this role are split between the clients facilities in San Francisco and Las Angeles, CA. What you will be doing: Support vehicle recovery program to include policy creation/review, safety review, training, and recovery operations Establish and maintain partnerships with local law enforcement, fire departments, EMS and other emergency response groups. Provide training on our client's vehicle capabilities and safety protocols during emergencies. Conduct field investigations, document results, and support information requests to assist law enforcement and the clients Security, Legal and Safety teams. Gather feedback to help our client continuously improve autonomous vehicle technology and emergency response procedures. Review our client's policy and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and safety best practices. Represent our client at industry events and meetings. About You Required Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in law enforcement, with direct traffic enforcement experience. ICS certification or advanced course completion and experience. Bachelor's degree and experience in a related field, such as Public Safety, Transportation or Emergency Management and/or certification in traffic safety or investigations. Exceptional communication, training, and relationship building skills. A large network of Law Enforcement contacts, Ie- FBI National Academy. Experience conducting technical investigations and liaising with external stakeholders. Understanding of safety best practices and protocols during emergencies. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a startup environment. Preferred Qualifications: Command level experience preferred.
