Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a Director of Finance and Controlling - Americas on behalf of our client, a global manufacturer specializing in conveyor and flat belt solutions. This role provides strategic financial leadership across the Americas region, ensuring profitability, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance in alignment with global corporate strategy. Serving as a key member of the regional leadership team, this individual will act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership by delivering transparent financial insights, proactively steering financial performance, and implementing corrective actions where needed. The role will also lead continuous improvement initiatives across Finance, Controlling, and IT to enhance systems, reporting, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy Serve as a strategic partner to Regional Presidents and divisional leadership, influencing business decisions through financial expertise Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across Finance, Controlling, and IT Establish clear goals, drive accountability, and build succession readiness Promote ethical leadership, integrity, and financial transparency Champion cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Operations, HR, and Commercial teams Provide clear financial visibility to executive leadership and actively support strategic business initiatives Financial Management Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Deliver comprehensive financial reporting to executives, board members, and stakeholders Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC, IFRS, and corporate policies Strengthen financial controls and reporting accuracy across the region Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, tools, and reporting processes Governance and Compliance Oversee regional internal controls and ensure adherence to global standards Serve as primary liaison for internal and external audits Strengthen risk management practices to safeguard company assets Technology and Process Improvement Provide leadership to the regional IT function to ensure alignment with global systems Drive digital finance initiatives that enhance automation, efficiency, and data accuracy Improve operational and cost controlling processes within a manufacturing environment Collaboration Partner with controllers, finance managers, divisional and corporate controlling, and cross-functional leaders across the Americas Build strong relationships with external partners including auditors, consultants, financial institutions, and vendors Requirements include: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required Master's degree preferred Experience: 8 to 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience within a manufacturing environment Proven experience leading multi-functional finance and controlling teams Experience working within global or matrixed organizations preferred Skills: Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis Deep knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards Experience with SAP and cost accounting in a manufacturing setting Strong operations controlling experience Excellent communication and executive presentation skills Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities Ability to travel as needed Certifications: CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred Knowledge: In-depth understanding of manufacturing finance and cost structures Knowledge of global compliance standards and audit processes Familiarity with financial systems optimization and digital finance tools Understanding of risk management and internal control frameworks Key Competencies: Strategic Leadership: Aligns financial strategy with business objectives and drives regional performance Business Acumen: Demonstrates strong operational and financial insight to support executive decision-making Influence and Partnership: Builds trusted relationships with senior leadership and cross-functional teams Operational Excellence: Continuously improves financial processes and systems Integrity and Accountability: Upholds high ethical standards and financial governance Team Development: Inspires, mentors, and develops high-performing teams How to Apply: To apply for this position, please click the "Apply" button at the top right of your screen.
