Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist/Warehouse Operator Sirius Staffing is seeking a Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist/Warehouse Operator to support material flow within a regulated chemical manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory integrity, supporting compliant material handling, and ensuring the seamless movement of goods from receipt through final shipment. Job title: Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist/Warehouse Operator Location: Round Rock, TX Contract duration: 1 year (with possible extension) Pay: $25/hr on W2 Schedule: 8am - 5pm Position Overview: The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, demonstrates strong organizational discipline, and understands the importance of regulatory compliance in a quality-focused operation. Core Responsibilities Inventory Control & Accuracy Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and reconciliation activities Investigate discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement corrective measures Monitor and manage expired, obsolete, or non-conforming materials Maintain accurate location tracking within inventory management systems Receiving & Material Processing Process inbound materials by verifying documentation against purchase orders Inspect, label, and store materials according to internal standards Post receipts into inventory management systems accurately and timely Manage stock returns and ensure timely distribution of materials to internal departments Shipping & Distribution Coordinate preparation and shipment of finished goods, raw materials, and samples Ensure shipments comply with applicable transportation regulations (including hazardous material standards) Support order finalization activities including system posting and documentation Maintain organized staging areas to support efficient outbound operations Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to meet shipping requirements Qualifications Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Associates or Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent experience in inventory, logistics, or chemical/material handling environments Prior experience in regulated manufacturing or chemical distribution environments preferred Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and record accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively Comfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Strong written and verbal communication skills Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
