What You'll Do Supervise day-to-day lab operations, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with state, federal, and accrediting regulations. Act as a resource and mentor for other technologists, supporting onboarding, training, and competency evaluations. Perform and review a wide range of testing: chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, toxicology, molecular, and blood bank. Oversee quality control, proficiency testing, instrument calibration, and preventative maintenance. Assist with staffing, scheduling, and payroll in coordination with lab leadership. Collaborate with pathologists, physicians, and department managers to optimize workflow and meet patient care goals. Contribute to test development, validation, and process improvement projects that advance lab capabilities. Serve as lab supervisor in the absence of the Lab Manager. What You'll Bring Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related sciences required; Master's degree desirable. Certification: ASCP, AMT, or equivalent national certification required (or eligible within 18 months of hire). Experience: At least 2 years of professional clinical laboratory experience required, with hospital experience strongly preferred. Skills: Strong technical knowledge across multiple disciplines, excellent organizational and problem-solving ability, and proven leadership skills.
