Picker / Packer - Outbound

Picker/Packer Outbound The Outbound Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately selecting products from inventory and preparing orders for shipment. This role ensures that customers receive the correct items in a timely and secure manner, following all shipping procedures. Key Responsibilities: Pick products for customer orders using pick tickets, handheld scanners, or voice-picking systems Pack items safely and securely to prevent damage during transit Confirm order accuracy and apply shipping labels Stage completed orders for carrier pickup or internal delivery routes Maintain productivity and accuracy standards Assist with shipping documentation and inventory adjustments as needed Keep workstations clean and follow all safety guidelines Report any shortages, mispicks, or packing issues to the outbound supervisor Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred Experience with order picking, packing, or fulfillment is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk throughout shift Familiarity with warehouse scanning systems and shipping software Excellent attention to detail and time management skills Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus
