Education A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications Obtain ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire. Maintain active certification throughout your career.
