Job Description

Aftermarket Spares Forecaster Deploy Aftermarket Stock Plan and forecast strategy for SUS. Execute and adapt the overall aftermarket stock plan strategy within the SUS perimeter, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market/customer demands. Customize our forecasting tools and KPIs to meet the specific requirements and operational particularities of the SUS domain. Participate in local optimization of forecast and processes. Analyze historical sales data at the part number level to generate accurate forecasts, enabling anticipation of customer orders and proactive inventory availability. Collaborate closely with the program team and customers to gain a deeper understanding of customer needs and expectations, integrating this feedback into the demand forecasting process. Work with the aftermarket product support engineering team to define technical forecasts based on program developments, technical modifications, and product lifecycle stages. Consolidate forecasts from multiple sources by part number, quantity, and required dates, and ensure accurate loading into the ERP system. Coordinate with Supply Chain teams to assess and confirm supply chain capacity and capability to meet forecasted demand. Calculate forecasts by commodity group to provide a comprehensive view, complementing part-level forecasts. Measure and monitor the accuracy, coverage, and stability of demand forecasts, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative metrics. Assess the impact of forecast accuracy on customer on-time delivery and overall satisfaction. Monitor consequences of demand planning on inventory, including assessing residual stock and related costs. Actively participate in local Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to synchronize demand plans with broader business objectives. Engage with all aftermarket teams to continuously improve the quality and reliability of demand forecasts. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain related field or a minimum of 6 years in Supply Chain/Demand Management. Additionally, 6 years' experience in Supply Chain / Demand management. English fluent. ERP M3 or similar. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint). BI Basic Knowledge (Hyperion/Birst). Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment. Ability to read and review written communication. Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English. Customer satisfaction oriented. Logistics knowledge. Problem Solving/Analytical mind. Communication proficiency. Ability to work independently as well as within a team. Flexible. Strong work ethic and self-motivated. International and/or Domestic travel required; less than 5%.
